What inspired your career journey?

I adore precision engineering of what brings perfect balance, yet fascination, across so many disciplines within our World. Where there is, colour, proportion, light, beauty and variance - a powerful concoction – true beauty is experienced. Sounds strange, but the legal technology industry in which I have spent happy years generating successful solutions for my clients encompasses many aspects of precision engineering – all with creative thinking. Raised with an emphasis on the importance of family, friends and good food, I believe food is sustenance and joy. It is a privilege. Food is a passion. Sourcing amazingly fresh ingredients, uniting flavour, texture and creating visual anticipation for my guests is the ultimate joy.

What are your trend predictions for 2016?

As we see a decrease in high street brand (bland) names, organic, free-range, gluten free, and other food specialties will become accessible with more bang for your buck.

Do you live by any motto or philosophy?

Be gentle on ourselves and eat what makes us feel healthy and heavenly indulged!

What would your best piece of advice be for someone beginning his or her planning journey?

Believe in yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when your journey hits rough terrain.

What's your favourite season, why?

Autumn! Because I love trees and how they get tipsy and golden on summer sun, crisp mornings, log fires and because it’s my Birthday on 1st December which signifies countdown to festival sparkles, twinkly lights and some fun indulgence.
