What inspired your career journey?
I had such fun planning my own wedding and loved attending the weddings of my friends. I just knew I wanted to work in this industry in some way. But it was the idea of the letters that made this happen, so I have to acknowledge Strictly Come Dancing for some inspiration.
What are your trend predictions for 2016?
Spreading our Wings as well as our Lights. The wedding and private party market is strong even in economically challenging times and we see so much scope here as well as a virtually untapped Corporate market. We've only just started and we are doing things right, so more of what we do best for 2016 and beyond.Oh and Balloons, Balloons, Balloons!
Do you live by any motto or philosophy?
There is so much truth in the classic mottos, Life is too short, fact. Smile, its contagious, fact. The glass is always half full, and in our case with Prosecco, FACT.
What would your best piece of advice be for someone beginning his or her planning journey?
Be open minded and observant and you will see opportunity. Listen to advice, but don't listen to all the advice. You know best in many cases. Have a plan, write it down, stick to it. Unless its a bad plan...in which case change it! After all, on the way to the dream you can get lost and end up finding a better one. No change for the sake of change, but where its needed. So in a nutshell observe, plan, adapt (& enjoy!).
What's your favourite season, why?
Spring. I love the winter, but coming out of winter and seeing everything come to life is humbling and inspiring at the same time. I feel its the time of year that I have most to look forward to. In a hectic world it also feels good to be synchronised with nature just a little bit.
P.S and just for reference, what's your favourite word in the English language?
OK, so Prosecco is an Italian word, so I'll say Gorgeousness!
