Long live McQueen

If there’s one exhibition that no dedicated follower of fashion should miss, it’s Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.  The exhibition, which is being hailed as the most important exhibition in British fashion history, is opening this Saturday (14th March) and runs until August 2nd at the V&A Museum in London.

This stunning retrospective, which first debuted at New York’s Met Museum in 2011, is so hotly anticipated that the V&A sold 30,000 advance tickets and weekend tickets are like gold dust.  Our top tips to get your hands on one are to either turn up early on the day you want to go as 200 tickets will be available each day from 10am on a first come, first served basis; become a V&A member as this guarantees you free unlimited priority entry to the exhibition (£64 for the year, or £35 if you’re under 26) or you can plan to pop in before work on April 27th or May 11th, when the show will be open from 8am, or go any Friday as that’s late-night and the show will be open until 9.30pm.
