A Pimms Toast To St George

What better way to celebrate England‚Äôs national day than to sit in the sunshine and drink a quintessentially English glass of Pimm‚Äôs (which was created in London in 1840 by James Pimm). The brand has been a regular feature at many English celebrations over the years, traditionally served at garden parties, cricket and tennis matches and¬† summer bbq’s.

We spoke to our partners at LiquidChefs, The Designer Bar and sophisticated drinks specialists who have supplied The Source with an English countryside twist on the classic, LiquidChefs Countryside Pimms.

This is based around the traditional recipe (one part Pimm’s No. 1 with three parts lemonade over the ice) with addition of Cr√®me du Mure and Elderflower cordial, simply add a splash of both with blackberries to garnish. The perfect pairing that we are sure St George himself would approve of.
